The outbreak of COVID-19 in the past year has affected people’s daily work, study, and social life and of course Karate, which we love, is no exception. During the social gathering ban and the closure of the fitness centres period, all normal dojo training, examinations, competitions, etc. could not be held smoothly.
Shihan Cheung Shiu Kwong, Siegel and the coaching team of Karate-do Goshin Kan have a wise vision and far-sightedness. As early as the beginning of the outbreak of the epidemic early last year, they took the lead in adding dojo equipment to hold online karate courses and combined with extensive teaching experience and technology platform to provide a better and more complete training environment for all students so that students can continue to learn karate at home and maintain a positive attitude.
Goshin Kan has been providing a righteous, reliable and safe environment for students to explore every possibility of their potentials in karate. In addition to further optimizing online teaching equipment, we are also making several “first time” attempts under the “new normal” of the epidemic, including the first online upgrade examination, first online kata standard seminar, as well as organizing the first ever “Online Kata Competition” through live streaming this time, we hope the new attempt can arouse and sustain student’s passion in karate!
The competition was successfully conclude, we express deep appreciation to all the guests, referees, students, parents, and friends who participated in the event for their support, especially the referees, organizing committee and helpers who worked hard to help organize the event, listed in no particular order:
Chow Kang Ting Sensei (Kenshinkai), Lau Pui Lun Shihan (Goju-Kai), Sung Ka Kui Sensei (Seigokan), Chan Kai Yui Sensei (Fit Concept), Chan Chuen Man Sensei (Hong Kong Shitoryu Karatedo Association), Lau Wai Kwong Shihan, Wong Cheuk Ming Shihan, Chu Siu Kwong Sensei, Tang Chun Kwok Sensei, Tam Shu Pui Sensei, Wong Kin Wai Sensei, Lau Siu Lik Sensei, Hui Ying Kit Sensei, Ngai Man Shan Sensei, Simon Chu Senpai, Cheung Mei Yi Senpai, Kwan Chi Wan Senpai, Leung So Sum Senpai, Ip Hang Tsz Senpai, Annballaw Bridget Leigh Senpai, Chan Ka Ho Senpai, Lam Vanessa Senpai, Leung King Tim Senpai, Au Siu Ming Senpai, Ngai Chun Tung Senpai, Mr. Wong Wing Fu.
